Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston on the historical drama series 'Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama "ER". Kellie Martin is most well-known for her role as a protagonist in The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was born to a department store buyer as well as the kindergarten teacher. She began acting at seven years old when her aunt, who was an nanny for Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin to be in the TV show Father Murphy. After graduating of Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the small screen and the big screen. Martin, besides being an actor, is also an accomplished photographer and dancer. She is a mother of two. she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and has been raising awareness about the condition following the death of her sister from it at the age of 19.
